Saint John Launches New Marketing Campaign - November 13, 2008

Saint John launched a major new Winter Marketing Campaign at the New Brunswick Museum today. “This campaign will promote Saint John as the Urban Destination for the 2008 Holiday Season to residents of the province of New Brunswick”, said Mayor Ivan Court. “This is a significant joint marketing initiative, and one sure to draw visitors to the Saint John region during the next several months.” Developed co-operatively by the Saint John Hotel Association, various retail and tourism representatives and Tourism Saint John, the Campaign will highlight the great shopping, dining and accommodation opportunities as well as cultural, heritage and sports events in Saint John this Holiday Season. Through billboards, newspaper and radio advertising, residents of New Brunswick will discover that Saint John is a great location for family getaways and romantic weekends away. As an innovative incentive to encourage visitors to come experience Saint John now, members of the Saint John Hotel Association are offering a $50.00 Giftcard as part of a special accommodation Package. This Giftcard can be redeemed at any of the participating retail, restaurant and attraction locations. The Campaign will officially begin with Saint John’s Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 15 and will continue until January 4, 2009.
