In an effort to enhance the bilingual workforce in Saint John, the Workforce Expansion / Life on Your Terms team will be representing the Saint John Community in recruitment fairs in France and Belgium next week.

The team has just confirmed that remote interview capability via Skype technology will be available at the France event, allowing the team to facilitate direct contact between job seekers and local employers.

Job candidates will be pre-screened by the team at the event, and if there is a match between job-seekers and employer requirements a remote interview session will be organized with the employer in Saint John.

According to Heather Chase, Director of Workforce Expansion with Enterprise Saint John, “This virtual interview option is an excellent opportunity for our employers, which could result in the immediate identification of high-quality candidates.”

To benefit from the recruitment missions, employers in the Saint John Community (Grand Bay-Westfield, Rothesay, Quispamsis, Saint John & St. Martins) can post current and upcoming job openings by filling out a form on the Life on Your Terms web portal www.saintjohnlifeonyourterms.ca. The deadline for postings is Monday, November 17th.
